What is Commitment Sunday?

Every year, we have Commitment Sunday at Church Alive. Commitment Sunday is when we come together as a church family to make our financial commitments for 2024 above our regular tithes towards the Believe and Build Foundation. 

What will I do on Commitment Sunday?

On Commitment Sunday you will share with us what amount you are going to be giving towards the Believe and Build Foundation. We will have a moment during worship for you to do this.

Sunday, March 24th, 2024. 

How do I prepare for Commitment Sunday?

Preparing for Commitment Sunday is both practical and spiritual. First, pray and ask God what part He would have you play. If you are married, be sure to pray about it as a family. Practically, any time God calls us to stretch, especially financially, there is a practical element of looking at your monthly budget to assess where your commitment will fit and what that will mean for other areas. 

How can I give my commitment?

You can give your commitment however God leads you: in one lump sum or in increments throughout the year. You can give by going to https://churchalivenj.churchcenter.com/giving and selecting “Believe and Build Foundation” as the fund.

Once I give my commitment, where can I track it?

We will send you an email after Commitment Sunday letting you know what you committed. On the Church Center app, you can follow these steps:

  • Log in

  • Click your picture on the top right corner

  • Scroll down and click “My Giving”

  • Click “Pledges”
