Pastor Miriam Fleming
Miriam Fleming is a dynamic, faith-filled, tell-it-the-way-it-is speaker that will challenge you to live up to your full potential. She and her husband Anthony have been married for 15 years and have three amazing children. Together they lead as Senior Pastors of Church Alive.
Miriam has a heart for empowering and building strong women for their families, workplaces, and communities. Her passion is to see women rise and be resilient knowing that their identity, their strength, and their ability to stand firm through the ups and downs of life, comes from fixing their hearts and minds on Jesus, the one who calls them daughter, beloved, and blessed.
In her free time, Miriam loves being surrounded by her close friends and family while eating good food around the table or watching a good old fashioned chick flick with some cookies and milk.
Pastor Alex Seeley
Alex Seeley is a passionate communicator and teacher of the Word. Possessing a unique ability to reveal how the Word of God is applicable to our everyday lives, Alex shares openly about how the power of God has proven real in her own life. Known for her boldness and tenacity, you’ll love the way Jesus shines through her.
Born and raised in Australia, Alex served as one of the Executive Pastors of a church in Australia for 17 years. In 2012, Alex, along with her husband and two children, moved to Nashville TN where they began ministering to local musicians and artists in their home. Within 12 months, their basement was packed to capacity every Tuesday night with people hungering for an encounter with God. It was out of these nights that their church The Belonging Co was birthed in February 2014.
Alex and her husband Henry are passionate about seeing people have a genuine encounter with Jesus, raising a generation that will share the love and hope of Jesus to this world.
Alex and Henry have been married for over two decades, and together they have two children, Holly and Taylor.
Pastor Maria Durso
Maria Durso is living proof that if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation (2 Corinthians 5:17). Having come from a childhood devastated by loss and abuse she grew up to thinking she could mask her pain with drugs. Her lifestyle could have left her hopeless and alone—yet God kept and preserved Maria’s life.
Understanding firsthand the effects of abandonment, loneliness and rejection are, she ministers to those whose hurt lies deep in the heart and works to minister to those who need hope. Armed with discernment, insight into the true character of God, honest about her own experience, and down to earth, Maria is an intercessor, teacher, and powerful speaker.
Believing that our greatest ministry is prayer, she has overseen the Intercessory Prayer Team for decades, a group that still intercedes daily for the needs of the congregation, various ministries, the Pastoral staff and requests that are phoned into the church as well formerly leading the Women’s Ministry for over 35 years at Christ Tabernacle.
