KIDS ALIVE
Equipping kids with the truth of who Jesus is and who Jesus says they are.
Kids Alive is not just child care, but it's a place your child will be equipped with the truth of who Jesus says they are! We believe Jesus meets us from the youngest of age to the oldest, and so here at Kids Alive we take our mission seriously: Kids Alive exists to reach, teach, and empower kids to live free in Christ and Transform their world!
Kids Alive is available during all services for all children up to 5th grade. Below is a breakdown of all the classes we offer:
Infants & Toddlers: 4 weeks to 4 years old
Preschool: 4 to Kindergarten (potty trained)
Elementary: 1st to 5th grade
Wonder Unit: Special Needs
Wonder Unit:
Our Wonder Unit is a safe space for parents to feel confident that their child with special needs is learning and growing in their faith! Our teachers have experience working with special needs families, and are always looking to make sure your child’s experience in Kids Alive is one they are excited about!
CHRIST-CENTERED, KID-FOCUSED
We believe in the Bible and teach creative, bible-based lessons to help your child learn more about God while having a great time! We care about each and every child and work to make our program relevant to every child's life. Having fun is an essential part of Kids Alive! We believe learning about God should be something your child enjoys and looks forward to every week.
RELATIONAL
Establishing long term friendships is an important part of Kids Alive. We want your child to make new friends and connect with our teachers.
PARENT-POWERED
We believe parent involvement in their child's spiritual life is extremely important so we work to connect the parent to what their child is learning on Sundays.
SAFE
We take extra measures to ensure the safety of your children. Every parent/guardian must sign in their child before service starts and will receive two tags, one for your child and one for you. Your child can only be picked up by the parent/guardian who has their matching tag. All of our volunteers are background checked and trained. We also have volunteers who are CPR trained.
Baby/Toddler Dedication
Here at Church Alive we have baby/toddler dedications. We follow the example of Jesus as He was dedicated in the Temple as a baby, and later as an adult was water baptized. Baby/toddler dedication is a time when parents pledge their commitment to raise their child according to Christian values and beliefs (Luke 2:22). The sign up to dedicate your child is done through the completion of Thrive. THRIVE meets for four weeks and it's designed for you to grow in your relationship with God and to unpack the gifts God has deposited in you.
